As Johanna Rothman and I prepare the early release for our book on distributed agile organizations, I’m learning more and more about book publishing.
For instance, with non-fiction books, the title usually has 2 key parts:
- The Promise – What the book hopes to deliver to the reader
- “What’s in it for me” (WIIFM) – what should the reader get from reading the book
For instance, an example from Johanna’s last book:
Create Your Successful Agile Project: Collaborate, Measure, Estimate, Deliver
Johanna and I are putting together our years of experience working with distributed agile teams in a variety of situations. Would you help us in picking a title for our new book?
Just fill out this survey by April 2.
